New Requirement for Sending Emails in SMPL System

SMPL SYSTEM will begin enforcing Authenticated Domains immediately. We are implementing this measure because recently a number of email providers have started blocking all emails not sent from a validated domain. This results in deployed emails not reaching their destination. Email white-labeling is the process of sending emails under your own domain name instead of the default one provided by your email marketing service provider. It basically means that your emails appear as coming directly from you and not from a third-party. In order to remediate this we will be requiring that all accounts have their domain white-labeled in order to fully utilize SMPL's emailing capabilities. Starting immediately, we will be implementing the following:

What happens next?

Please go to your System Updates page and see the 'Email White-Label Requirement' update to find out whether your domain white-label has been installed already. If it has not, then click the 'Send Request for System Update' button. Next, we'll reach out to you if we need any information to start the white-labeling process. We will need to know all domains you use (or intend to use) to send emails through your system. It would also be helpful if you can tell us your DNS Host, because we can send you more specific instructions. Some common DNS hosts are listed below; chances are yours is one of them:

Pair NetworksGoDaddyZohoSquarespaceWix • Google Cloud • 1 2 3 Reg • Alibaba Cloud • Amazon Route 53 • Cloudflare • ClouDNS • CSC Corporate Domains • DNS Made Easy • DNSimple • DNSPod • Dyn • easyDNS • Jimdo • Namecheap • NS1 • Rackspace Cloud • REG.RU • RU-CENTER • TransIP

If yours isn't listed here, still let us know the name and we'll try to find instructions for you.

Next, we will initiate the setup with Sendgrid, our email sending vendor. Look for an email coming from Sendgrid (or we may forward it to you) with a link to the specific DNS entries that need to be added to your DNS host's configuration. The instructions will look like the screen shot below:

Once you have finished adding these DNS entries (and have added them properly), we will be automatically notified and will let you know that the setup is completed, and the email sending restrictions in your system will be lifted.
